Finished on time tonight thanks to the hard work from all the staff - they are a great bunch! Well, most of the time ;-)
Beautiful blue hour, so took the nearest opportunity and went for another explore around the port of Blyth. To those in the know that's North Blyth and maybe not the first place that springs to mind to go exploring when it gets dark...It's a treasure trove and I wandered to the other side of the silos on yesterday's picture. The wind turbines on the sea wall were taking their Friday night off. Found this peculiar shed next to them and the perfect huge puddle...The local fishermen have started watching me with this slightly bemused look on their face and have probably decided that I am a bit "special" ;-)
Thank you all for your wonderful comments on yesterday's shots of the pier and port of Blyth - you are a great bunch too!! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Am working, so will try to catch up as much as I can.
That's a puddle? Gosh I thought it was the harbour! Lovely shot, love the mix of new and old with the guard house and the windmill ... and the gentle lights at the side balancing it up. You are 'a bit special'..... :)
