@aenowling Hi April, The lady was so engrossed in her paper that I managed to shoot three bracketed shots handheld (Good job the train was in a station). The best exposure was then corrected in Lightroom 4, but still as a colour image. (It probably would have made very little difference if I had used the jpg versions.) I then used Photomatix Essentials 4 (HDR software) to tonemap the three images and chose to use one of the mono outputs. The final effect was one of the filters in Smart Photo Editor. I probable made hard work of it, I would probably have got a very similar image much quicker just using a jpg file and Smart Photo Editor.
