282 - Les Eyzies de Layac

Or "Les Eyzies" for short. Either way I struggle with the pronunciation, ordering a beer or wine is so much easier.
Fascinating capture - even if it's difficult to pronounce!! Cheers :) fav

Yes! I was just there this summer! LOVED it there. Will you be seeing any caves. Oh, and a Belgium tourist overheard my husband and I debating how to pronounce Les Eyzies: Laiz Ay-zies, Lazy Ezees, Layz Ay-Zees, he corrected us: Layz A Z, or something like that.

@blueberry1222 Not visited any cave yet, moving out tomorrow as have friends who are stayin 80 miles away on the way to Spain, after a few days with them will come back and do some caves, although many are closed at this time of year.

@bob65 it's a short tourist season there. I think Roque St-Christoph stays open year round http://www.northofthedordogne.com/roque-saint-christophe.php
