Salvia in the park

The flower beds looking good in the park on this breezy day.

Cycled to Pilates, which I found very tough. Felt very weak with a bit of muscle fatigue all day - must be from Wednesday's walk. Dave met me in the Veg Hut and we cycled to Wood Street Library to see the Artemisia Gentileschi self portrait which is on loan there from the National Gallery as part of the E17 Art Trail.

We cycled back through what seemed to be a terrible wind tunnel - almost got blown off the bike. Stopped off at the new Lloyd Park Market - very busy with yummy mummies and daddies and their sprogs. Mainly street food stalls, as well as an expensive olive stall, a French cheese stall and a couple of greengrocers. No replacement for the farmers' market.

Cycled back through the park, the wind still bad for a halloumi and toast brunch. Did a bit of thinking about hols and Dave put up the linen cupboard and fixed the spare room blind.

Went for a quick pizza at the local pizzeria, rather worried that my duty phone would ring. It didn't and I enjoyed a tuna and onion, very spicy, pizza and Dave an aubergine and sun-dried tomato one along with a glass of wine. Still light when we returned.
