Evening foxes by boxplayer

Evening foxes

Came home to find these two commandeering the best corners of the garden.

A lovely warm and sunny day - the swifts were circling low.as I left for work. Walked through the parks where I found a heron fishing in the lake. And more wildlife - as I was on the tube, I briefly saw a mosquito land on my tablet. It was probably the unique to the London Underground culex molestus - so named after its habit of assaulting Londoners sheltering in the tunnels during the Blitz. https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/London_underground_mosquito

Quiet at work with people off sick and working from home. Choir at lunchtime. Then home to try and sit out in the garden and catch the last rays - but the sun had already moved into the farthest corner of the garden by the time I got back - even if the foxes hadn't been hogging the best spots.

Sat outside anyway reading and collected a few strawberries and the odd raspberry from the bushes.

They really love your garden don’t they. Are they friendly?

@kjarn I wouldn't say 'friendly' as such - but they are fairly chilled out about hanging in the garden even when we're in there and also don't mind scratching on the door to ask for food!
