The day continued lazily as we watched Calamity Jane with mum and eating chocolate liqueurs before driving mum home, laden down with her presents, leftover Christmas red cabbage and trifle. She wanted to get back before the arrival of Storm Bella.
Had a gin and tequila tasting later with my new bottles and a supper of leftover Christmas dinner. Watched both episodes of Victoria Wood's Secret List - so entertaining - a much missed talent. Started watching the show after of her 90s stand-up performance at some theatre or other but ended up falling asleep so had to retire before it finished.
That’s it mum, a nice empty plate...looks like she had a lovely Christmas with you both. We watched Victoria Wood too....an amazing talent sadly ended way too soon.
