Still up from Christmas. We did say we'd take them down when the batteries needed changing. But we've enjoyed them so much, we've just changed the batteries and kept them up. Maybe till it starts to get positively lighter.
Neighbours have finally got the good-to-go and it's going to be speedy. They're moving Tuesday. New people move in same day. I was feeling positively weepy with it first half of the day. Hope our presents for them arrive in time.
Our neighbours opposite (2 sets) are a touch worried also as the tenants who've been living in the house between them are moving out and the owner is letting it out again. One neighbour said hello to a prospective tenant who said it was a complete hovel, with a landlord that does nothing, one of the rooms is out of bounds because of a leak he won't fix apparently.
And in other exciting road news, the police were at the same house as on a previous occasion - that time they were armed. The area's going to pot I tell you...
Played Catan with boss Jess and Mike after work - one of those slightly taxing strategic games I'm not usually that keen on, but seemed to get the hang of it.
