Always a pleasure to pass this community garden on the towpath - usually while I'm cycling although we were on foot this time.
I had planned to go to a Zumba class this morning as I can't go tomorrow - but the weather looked so lovely, I persuaded Dave to come out for a yomp around the towpath and on to the marshes, circling back up Coppermill Lane and home.
Weather was indeed gorgeous and positively warm in the sunshine. We saw the usual cormorants drying their wings - some quite close-up - and heard the most musical bird song but couldn't spot the songster. We kept a good pace up, Dave chivvying me along when I slackened. He also sorted me out with a very nice mackerel on toast after.
Plans for this evening include tagliatelle with tuna and Jaws.

Started working out our expenses on the flat from last year - there was a lot what with leaks and new bathroom.
Autumn sunshine - spent a couple of hours just reading by the back door, the sun full on me.
Popped round to give the neighbours their parcel and met their baby A - very cute and cuddly.
