Not sure if it's a great idea to use apple trees as street trees - they do make a bit of a mess at this time of year.
Early dash of a cycle this morning as we were running late for our COVID booster appointment. But we were in time and also got offered our flu jabs. Tiny little room so I couldn't stay with Dave as I normally do fussing in case he passes out. He didn't. They're so insignificant these injections now - in and out in a nanosecond with barely a prick.
Relaxing late breakfast before I prepared veg for supper - halloumi peppers, courgettes, aubergines and squash in a tray bake. Was doing work on my photo book when news broke that the Home Secretary Suella Braverman had departed. A vitriolic resignation letter pointed to the likelihood that she was seriously pushed. Grant Shapps has taken over.
And apparent disgraceful scenes in the voting lobbies with rumours of MPs being manhandled into the house to vote against Labour's fracking motion.
1. No after effects from the vaccines and I went along to Zumba.
2. Spent useful time getting stuff together for the weekend.
3. Amusing scenes from Parliament - well you have to laugh otherwise you'd cry.
I agree about the trees. There are two apple trees and a pear tree just along our road and the fruit is never picked. I also agree with you about the embarrassing shambles our government/parliament has become. 🙄
We forage for apples when we are out and about. In fact we forage for blackberries too , had my autumn booster last week , walk in , no appointment, in and out in minutes !
Was taken with these apples in the street! I’m surprised no one has picked them up but perhaps they know then from old ……sour?
Good to know no repercussions with double vaccine, we are having the same in a weeks time!
It’s never ending drama … I give up!!
Good to hear you had no side effects from the vaccine.
