Coming back from meeting Sally for a cup of tea in the café under St John Smith Square.
Restless night with the most tremendous amounts of rain for the first part of it. More rain as we woke made for a damp journey in. And for Dave a whopping extra hour and a half on his normal commute time as the A10 was seriously flooded.
Long day in the office - having got in at 8, didn't leave till 6.30.

1. Weather much cooler, feels so much more normal.
2. A surprise message from Sally - in town so up for a lunchtime catch-up.
3. A cheeky piece of victoria sponge while chatting to Sally.
