To accompany my wrapping of Dave's Christmas presents.
Last day at work and of course it was fairly quiet with our skeleton crew who I sent off a bit early. Took an extended lunch break to go with Dave to pick up mum and get her stuff from the chemist.
Logged off and Dave locked himself in the bedroom to wrap my presents and I wrapped his, enjoying a cup of glöggi with mum.
Fish and chips after watching Hitchcock's Blackmail. A very early one from 1929 which started life as a silent film but was finished off as a talkie, leading to some interesting direction where he tried to save having to reshoot scenes and also the leading female actor being dubbed as her accent was apparently ghastly.
3 good things
1. Positive signs that the solution IT have put into place has fixed the mailbox issue.
2. Dave brought an omelette to my desk as a late lunch.
3. I wasn't run over cycling back from the chippie having forgotten to put my back light on and needing to stop briefly in the middle of the road as I turned right.
