Having felt quite sniffly, I took a test and it showed up ever so slightly positive (well the most imperceptible of lines) but I continued to experience only the mildest of symptoms all day - couldn't really even call it a cold. Dave was still positive but feeling so well, he went into work. He goes in by car and works outside where he can avoid all contact with others.
Lots of other dissatisfying stuff today.
Work was busy and I found it difficult to concentrate on the myriad things I needed to do - probably an effect of the virus - and we're struggling with how we're going to manage the on-call service with industrial action taking place. Jess also has a heavy cold and Alex got hit by a car yesterday evening - he's ok having been checked out last night at hospital but still a shock.
Mum asked me to phone TalkTalk to see if I could persuade them to reactivate her friend's phone - the friend has early Alzheimer's so she finds it hard doing this sort of stuff. Of course they couldn't do it without her friend on the phone.
And the council didn't get back to me about whether the like-for-like window replacement stipulation means we can't replace the non-opening fake sashes with opening ones.
3 good things
1. Mild COVID symptoms so far.
2. Nobody else has reported symptoms of COVID yet.
3. Ordered a multi-pack of Jakemans menthol lozenges from Amazon, should be here tomorrow.
