Colour in the park

A lot of celebrations going on locally today. A big Tamil festival in front of the William Morris Gallery. Festival goers were enjoying the park sunshine - very warm today - you can see the pops of colour from their lovely festival finery. And later, the annual procession went past our road to honour the Prophet Mohammed's birthday.

A busy Sunday after a very restless night - just couldn't seem to get comfortable or stay asleep for long.

Dave did a halloumi fry-up which we ate in the garden. After, calendar catch-up, preparing a big vegetable tray bake for later, and money admin. Walked to the park and back for exercise, returning home to start restoring order to the bedroom that has got untidy with all our trips away.

Pimm's and snacks in the garden eventually and working through my Spanish photos before supper - I cooked veggie sausages to go with the vegetables.

This emphasises the fact that Tamils dress much more smartly and colourfully than your average white English punter!
