Horseferry Road nearly drowning in the lunchtime torrential downpour (what a surprise) that hit as I made my way to our choir dress rehearsal.
And now I realise of course it's all our fault. The weather. Since the beginning of this term (April-ish) we've been rehearsing Captain Noah and His Amazing Floating Zoo. The dates all fit! And with lines like: 'It's gonna rain and rain and rain and rain and rain ... it's gonna rain and ....' - what else should we have expected.
You'll be pleased to hear that the performance is tomorrow lunchtime, so I am confident that summer will start from tomorrow afternoon ...
@andycoleborn - wet knees, wet arse, wet everything ... bloody hell it was wet - there's one thing kneeling in a puddle when the rain's stopped, but while it's still peeing down is another thing - I'm surprised I wasn't carted away ...
Lovely angle you have taken this at Isla, you can really get a feel of the flood. Can't think how you managed that though!!!!! I like the spray off the wheel.
fab title - and I thought the weather was my fault for saying I was dreading summer because I had put so much weight on and didn't want to wear summer clothes! so glad you've let me off the hook. Good luck for the performance
That's a lot of rain... but glad to hear summer will be arriving! :)

Well I should have known you were to blame - all that singing & cheerfulness. I'll dig my shorts out for tomorrow pm. Cracking (and brave) shot though.
Nice down low (wet knee) shot
