Tsuumi Sound System

Did a bit of a breakfast this morning: scrambled egg and smoked salmon - and then Sophie and Anna headed off once more to another exhibition - Pearls at the V&A. Tulin left to catch a coach back to Bristol. I did another trip to Sainsbury's to see what fish they had for a fish soup.

Then more work on the Nancy pics and before I knew it, it was getting dark. Anna and Sophie returned bearing Carluccio's chocolate grissini (what a great idea they were) and some starters from Ottolenghi's. I cooked up the fish soup and we then headed out for the last time to King's Place.

This time to catch Tsuumi Sound System - a standing gig this time. Good thing too as they were very danceable - very lively folky/jazzy tunes on twin fiddles, accordion, piano and harmonium, double bass and percussion. Plus a fantastic saxophonist who could make his instrument sound like wheeling seabirds. Wonderful.

Then, yes, of course, back home for more nibbles and prosecco.
