Tea and crumpets

The best street food ever - tea and crumpets - being sold from one of those great old Citroen vans outside King's Cross station. I'm so going back there for a cuppa and a crumpet.

I have never seen crumpets sold by a street van before....a very enterprising person! Satisfying, simple to do & hot...what more could you want?

Had to laugh at the banter between you and Alison! I love this old truck, I'd settle for tea and crumpets but I'm with Andy - I'd rather have a cream tea. There's a citroen van like this not too far from me which serves great coffee and cake (you can see it at the end of the blog post http://roachling.blogspot.co.uk/2013/10/calendar-walk-baslow-edge.html)

Crumpets, brilliant. I wish they did that here, it would be a great change from the hot dogs and burger vans.
