@judithg - Hoxton! Total hipsterville - the only danger will be him starting to sprout weird facial hair and wear strange trousers in odd primary colours that end somewhere above the ankle ... Think it's fine these days - very trendy and busy with artists and media types. Good transport now too with the London Overground.
Oh that's good because the only reports I've read are that the building is full of vermin. That was when it was brand new though and I know there are problems with building rodents into new buildings - hoping they've cured it because he is a complete wuss with mice! He can already do somewhere above the ankle - drives me bonkers. Will check out the overground. @judithg I suspect he'll find it quite mixed like a lot of these newer trendy spots in inner London, still a lot of social housing and ordinary peoplle there among the. trendies! Handy for Columbia Road market if he's into flowers! And the kitty cafe!
