Very nice shot! My grandmother taught me to sew. I have a picture of my first lesson (although I was already a grown-up). She has passed on now and I really appreciate her for teaching me. This stirs my heart!

This is a great photo!! (though I can't say I have good memories of this, when my mom taught me--no patience!)

I can't begin to tell you how much I relate to this photo... Such a scene set me on a path straight into 4 years of Fashion Design in college and a brief carreer in Dallas. Just looking at this picture makes me smile, both for her and for my own good memories! It's like, "what if...?"

I love this picture, like so many others - happy memories, of my Mum passing her skill on to me...and hopes for the future - that I'll be passing that skill on to our daughter...

I hope she's more patient than I was at that age. I'm still a terrible sewer. What a great shot of such a precious moment.

Conlon Nancarrow...really?! Sort of like "Modern Art" for the player piano! (a bit too discordant for my tastes...) Your friend, Wendy, on the other hand...what a classy web site! With a grandbaby on the way & Heather with her baby boutique, I'm going to pass along the name and have a bit of a further look. Thanks for that!

You don't have a youtube site of your own music, do you? "Enquireing" minds want to know :-)
