Catch of the Day by bradsworld

Catch of the Day

The Dory Fleet Market in Newport Beach, California sells fresh fish pulled in from the Pacific Ocean seven days a week, weather permitting. The Dory fishermen head out between midnight and 2am and usually return before 7am. What's available depends on what the ocean yielded that day.
I love this! Photo telling a story... My favorite kind!

Just read your caption to Ken...we would love to know more details when we return! Your photo looks like just the sort of place we'd love to buy fresh fish...having been spoiled here by what's available at the Lunenburg docks! Thanks for heralding this local site!

Dill was, no doubt surveying his table top and wondering when we'd clear the path for him again. Good thing I'm no longer raising children...I've lost all ability to teach proper manners, allow anything and the boy does as he pleases... (Must be that I'm moving into the grandmother phase :-)

I had to laugh a little when I saw this photo. I just did a week of Grannie-duty recently and when I saw the orange fish in the market I immediately thought of the crackers "Gold Fish".
