This was the result of a trip to Home Depot. This is a shot of a sheet of wire used to adhere mud to walls before tiling. I ran the shot through the Camera Bag app multiple times (Helga, Fish-Eye & Lolo) and then briefly through Aperture.
My conversation with a Home Depot patron when I was taking shots of the exterior of the building:
Man: "Is this your first trip to Home Depot?"
Me: "No."
Man: "Are you buying a Home Depot?"
Me: "No. Why?"
Man: "You sure are taking a lot of pictures."
Me: "I like to take pictures. It's interesting."
This is very cool Brad, also when I scroll up and down the page on my mac it looks like it's moving in some sort of weird optical illusion way- so double bonus! :)
I love this- I love the whole collection!! Very unique and interesting- deceptively simple at first glance. Oh, and way to hold your ground with the Home Depot Patron :-) You should send him a print!
By the way- how do you like Aperture? I was considering purchasing it instead of Photoshop Mac... any thoughts??
Whoa! As Sarah85 says, "...when I scroll up and down the page on my mac it looks like it's moving in some sort of weird optical illusion way...". That IS awesome!! Ha! And laughed out loud at your Home Depot comment! :-)
This came out fantastic. Looks like it should have been in the opening sequence for the old outer limits tv show. You have control of my computer monitor........
Haha--they probably thought you were a freak, that makes me laugh. I like the chicken wire one, Brad. What an interesting idea--they all look really cool.
Brad - they are all so cool!!! What a great idea! Funny conversation! You being there with a camera, might actually be a "normal" looking shopper, as opposed to some of the people I see there! ha ha .....
Lol at convo!!

Great shot Brad!
love your conversation, hahaha! :)
