@shanky31 - some of it is the overhead recessed lighting in my kitchen, the iPhone performs much better with lots of light, and then I almost always highlight my photos with some post-processing in either Aperture or Lightroom. It may be just a crop, or dropping the blacks a bit, or a little sharpening...and sometimes a complete facelift, but almost no photo goes untouched. (Or "un-retouched". ) My photo quality straight-out-of-phone has improved since I upgraded from an iPhone 3G to an iPhone 4.
Usually if a shot is SOOP (Straight Out Of Phone), I'll note it in my description of the shot.
After such a pose, of course she got a treat. I'm not as soft a touch as Susie, but I'm still a pretty soft touch. She gets that little Elvis lip curl when the treat is especially desirable, like chicken...
Thanks for all your comments. I've been super busy with work, (thankfully), and finding little time to post, let alone comment. The "super busy" part has been a long time coming.

Here's a link to some side-by-side before and after shots I posted from my iPhone 3G awhile ago as an example: http://www.flickr.com/photos/bradsworld/sets/72157624768589511/

Oooh, you are almost to 365!! I know you've been really busy lately, but any thoughts about taking on a second year of some sort?
