not much time today. but finished off one pack of dates. still another I may cook with . need to get rid of all these bits choc and crisps too so i don't keep eating them !

Not too fond of dates but they do make a fruit cake lovely and moist . I also am trying to get rid of all the food left over from the festivities , then must think in earnest of going on a healthier diet !
I find it very good to eat everything that is bad for you, very fast! That way it is no longer a threat! Date Scones are all the rage in NZ but not in Europe where we are now. My hubby is so sad!
I don't like dates except in our Christmas cake. I think it's because a pack of dates were always bought for Xmas by my parents and nobody seemed to eat them 🙂
