John decided give the log burner its Mot...new rope.stove paint etc.clean glass..cold.buu had have window open to remove the smell.says will all be back in one piece tomorrow..been dentist.all good.hate those scale ans polish things.we all feeling bit weary with everything at the moment.so sorry for lack of commenting x

Harry has been messing with ours today too Brenda, just a bit of black spray here & there after the chimney sweep. We have it on tonight, this photo of yours is very like ours except your fireplace is brick & ours is stone with a brick back. Good John is feeling strong enough to tackle something like that, he's getting there. Hope Jean is OK. We can't be commenting all the time so don't worry about that Brenda!
