When I was a student, I attended Evensong here and one of my fellow students was the organ scholar and played here regularly. Beautiful cathedral. Lovely that you lit a candle. We often do that for various people when we find ourselves in the kind of church that has them. Sending love your way xx
It’s comforting to light a candle, just that little stop & think of the person as you light it & place in the holder....comforting flame....a beautiful Cathedral. Yes the screen is rather prominent but I expect it’s for the words although 8 like a proper hymn book best!
