Sorting through some stuff. My babies slept in these little nighties .some were passed down.. I loved them..now it's all baby grows.can not part with them

Beautiful, my girls slept in nighties just like this too when they were very small. Then when they were a little bit older they transferred to babygrows, but I still loved the nighties.
Beautiful memories of white layette of tiny babies - I can smell the talc and baby from jus looking at these -- unlike today when the tiniest of babies re dressed in the most garish patterns and colours in their tiny garments ! -- Nostalgia , Brennie !! .
Oh Brenda I had little nighties just like that...what memories, I had forgotten about them . I can almost smell the soft cotton, they looked so sweet in them too, cosy & warm & we used to swaddle them too in those days. Wish I had kept mine!
Didn't keep our baby nighties, they were well used after several children. But have got old lacy Christening robes which were used for all of them, also for me in the dim and distant past !!
