“Just A Little Carefree and Easygoing”

There are times when the pictures which are the simplest are the best photos, nothing fancy, just a little minimalism and enjoying the beauty of nature and a stunning day – that is the point of today’s photograph – carefree and easy; a little blue sky with some clouds for highlights, a nondescript tree in a field of gold and mountains as a backdrop. Days like this remind me a lot of my dad. [7 February 2017]

“I like to think my dad was easygoing and kind, and I think some of those things have been passed down. I am like him in a sense of being positive and hopeful. He was compassionate, and I've got a lot of that in me as well.”
~ Joel Osteen
I love the gentle colors.

@Cherrill - I'll be honest, that was unexpected. I really just liked the way that it looked for a leafless tree in a winter field. I always do my best to put my thoughts to the photograph and this really just reminded me of my dad - you're right, funny how that works. Thanks for taking the time to look and comment!
