Frinton-on-Sea / Stranger Danger

A day trip to Frinton with the family. Gorgeous soft sand and plenty of shells. Had a wonderful time but this post comes with a warning.

Myself and LL went to the public toilets before the trip back. LL (pictured) went left to the mens and I went right to the ladies. I come out not sure if Levi is finished. The attendant says that he thinks he's still in there. So I call him twice. LL has apparently left already as he comes running back to me from outside. He then proceeds to tell me that a man (outside) just asked him if he could take a photo for him. My boy tells him no as he's not allowed to talk to strangers. The place was busy with families. I'm aware that this could have been innocent but I believe the man saw a young black boy by himself with no parents in sight and was trying his luck. Hubby was yards away with Cookie in the car but didn't see anything. I left LL for three minutes and he was outside by himself for what must have been about 30 seconds. Please remind your children of stranger danger. I feel very thankful that nothing untoward happened and that I've equipped LL with the knowledge to not be so trusting.
Yes things happen so fast, am so glad the day turned out well for you!

Always good to be reminded of stranger danger. I am a teacher and I tell my children always find a mummy with children if you are lost or sense danger because they will always keep you safe.

@bluerose15 That's good advice too. Especially when they need to find an adult but not sure who to trust.
