Bruni, now i am in tears reading about your memories of you mother when you were young. thank you for sharing that with me. I cannot imagine licing through such tumultuous times. And talk about the strength of women. the strength your mother had to carry her MIL to bunkers during chaos of alarms and to let her children go for a brighter future when all she probably wanted was to hold on to you. I am sorry that she was not able to share in the BIG moments in life but...i know that even in those years she impacted you greatly and taught you and loved you! Thank you again for you willingness to share your story. how incredible.
hahahha! Love that, Bruni! "Let them have fun" ;-))) It's wonderful that you are going back to Germany soon! You are absolutely right - home is where the heart is, and it can be in two places! The reason I am in the US is because my husband is from here. For the past 4 years we've been hopping from country to county, trying to live in both - Bulgaria and the US. But now because of work we have to stay longer than planned. Too bad - it's cherry season in Bulgaria, but hopefully I'll make it back there by the end of summer for some delicous tomatoes and grapes! :-)
saw your comment on jessica's page. long exposure basically is a longer shutter speed. if you set your camera to shutter priority mode you can make it go longer and make the shutter take longer to close. you might then need a tripod to take a picture.
