TOWN OF TAXCO

A few interesting pictures..Spanish/colonial style houses. very narrow streets were you can hardly walk without being afraid of touching the oncoming cars. the streets are not only narrow but also hillly. once walking up a road I could hardly catch my breath without huffing and puffing and while driving through town before we found a parking spot I was afraid that the car would not make it up a hill and we would be rolling back down again.well we drove a jeep and were lucky to make it...there was no traffic behind us so maybe we shouldn't have tried getting up there when even the locals avoided that road. all in all with a visit to a gorgeous cathedral (pictures to follow) some shopping for silver jeweley and enjoying the scenery with a great trip home through the sunset....(I must have taken at least 100 pictures of it) we both agreed that we had a fabulous trip;
