The ditch is dugged out and ready for the retaining wall stones. next to it is the walkway wich will be done again with interlocking stones.
surprised Hans got that much done as the digging was hard, no rain for so long and the dirt too dried out. then there were also lots of roots to get out as we had some creepers along the side to the left ..you can still see some of them. it'll be really nice once its all finished.
Dear Bruni. I`ve seen/heard on the news the tragedy in Norway.
Our sun planned to have his holydays in Norge over 4 days. It touched me so deeply I can`t do 365 to day. I feel deep sad/ distressed for all those innocent victems, Words can`t say or explain
@pyrrhula I'm with you. thanks for haring this information. had to google the news of what happend there..tell me, what is this world coming to? Like you said all thos innocent people.. do I understand that your son was there at the time or was planing to vacation there soon?
Lookin good.....my husband has been doing the exact thing around the front of our house for the past month. Lots of work, especially in the recent heatwave but I think it's going to look great when finished. Looks like Hans is making some serious progress! :)
@bluemoon What a coincidence.. yes this is hard work. Hans is out there at 5 am when it just gets a bit light until it gets to warm. just took pictures again. we finally had a good rain and the ditch is full of water so he has to wait today until it dries up enough to continue with his work. see my picture I will post a bit later. and thanks for all your comments..I havn't read them all yet. have a nice beginning of this week.
