OH GEE WHAT HAPPENED ( # 1)

A new home is being built a few houses down thestreet from us. it appears they only work on weekends and so the excavator was sitting in the big hole when we had a lot of rain during the week. I thought it made a great subject for today's picture.
Oh look, a rain picture! Grrrr!

This should provide the neighborhood with a lot of entertainment as the thing tries to dig itself out of that mess!

@bugik my husband and also my son are both in contruction-home building so I'm use to it..we live on a very quiet street so once in awhile a little noise is ok.

Wondering how they will get the excavator out of that mud. Also it will be interesting to see the new house when it is finished

@digitalrn thanks so much for your comment....coincidence I read your comment when we got back home. planned on going for a drive in the country to see if the elderberries are already ripe but didn't get very far..only a bit down the street where they were busy trying to get that monster out. so of course we had to stop and watch. I must say there were a lot of people standing around watching. well we didn't get away until the job was done. 98 pictures later. so I think I'll make a collage for tomorrow. will post it early.

@bkbinthecity Thank your commenting on my picture..we were on our way out when we saw so many cars and trucks parked by the lot the new house is going to be built. I guess they were trying to get the excavator out. so of course we stopped too and watch until the job was done. by the time we got back into the car to go for our ride along country roads it started to rain..turned back home and went right away to the computer to upload 98 picures I took. so will post a collage early this evening.

@bruni looking forward to seeing it. I know that it is so easy to take so many shots in such a short time

I hope, in the light of that experience, that the new house will be built on stilts!
