"Dont forget me when I'm gone" is a beautiful song written my son Bruce's best buddy Sam who wrote it for his bride to be. this was in 1983 and it became the lead song for the band Sam Reid and his lead singer Alan Frew formed right here in Newmarket, Ontario. the band was called Tokyo ..a few years later they changed it to Glass Tiger. I remember when Bruce brought Sam over to the house for the very first time just before both of them together started Kindergarden. Sam had to stay home every afternoon to practise piano while the other kids played outside.. well more about that later. first of all I like to tell you that my daughter Grace and I are embarking on a 15 day Caribbean cruise. this time we decided to try once again a Fun Cruise - Carnival Cruises. we're leaving this Sunday morning. have to be at the ariport around 4 am....so forgive me if I'm not spending a lot of time today on browsing and commenting.. most of my packing is done so I'll be back on here tomorrow some time. .
I tried to get the song from utube but wasn't able to do at this moment..have to figure out first how to do it. sorry. if you can listen to it somehow it's really a beautiful song.

Are you guys sailing out of Baltimore? And I LOVE Glass Tiger!! LOVE that song! That was an awesome song for me in the 80's (mid) my cousins and I had it on tape and played it OVER and OVER and OVER again while at the beach in Rhode Island!
