Almost a full moon

I saw a beautiful sunset coming up and so I dressed real quick (freezing out there) and walked down to the lake. but I also looked behind me and saw the moon..so here is a moon picture first. not bad without a tripod if I may say so.

This is very nice :-) The "seas" and "lakes" have a warm tone, and the craters along the terminator stand out well.

How on earth did I miss this??? Great shot, Bruni! It's great you got the detail! It's hard with a P&S... trust me I know you know that cuz I did if for a couple years. I wish I could get a hand on your camera... It's so much easier showing rather than telling.
