Yes today is the day I celebrate my 77th birthday and on the 27th is my darling daughter Grace's.
she was born in 1961. she is my pride and joy from the moment I held her in my arms. we're like best friends and I love her dearly. the picture of us was professionally taken on our last cruise. I changed it to b/w to match the other one.
Happy Birthday to you ,Bruni! I can't belive you are 77 ! You look so much younger! And you are so active everyday,posting and commenting every day here on 365' ! I wish to feel the same way and rich such a beautiful age,but many evenings i am so tired I just can't open my laptop to download the pictures I have taken!I wish you many many happy years!And happy birthday to your daughter Grace too !
@olivetreeann Ann thank you for your kind Birthday wishes for me and Grace. funny Hans went out today for a few hours of work and when he came back he said he went to so many stores and none of them had daffodils. so we thought about it and Grace said you know mom the daffodils always are out in April. remember they sell them for cancer donations. I think she's right. well the one in the garden should bloom soon with the warmer weather...the temperatures were record breaking high today. Grace took a day off and took me to Toronto to a Botanical Garden. took lots of pictures.

A lovely Birthday Greeting you sent...so appreciated..yes I think one should think young, dress young as long as it's appropiate, act young and you will feel young..that's what I live by. taking care of yourself is important, get lots of excersise and keep your mind busy..here is where 365 helps...it's so nice to see the world through the 365ers eys and I find our interaction with them so stimulating as well.

@grammyn Katy I was recently going through some old pictures were I came across the baby picture. I always liked the one where I held my baby in my arms. such a nice memory..Grace and I both would like to thank you for your kind words.
@nikkers Nikki you're just too nice but thank you. yes. just recently I came across the baby picture and when I posted the one of us birthday girls I thought it might go together quite nicely.
@jenp Thank you so much Jennifer your words are very kind...this is the 3rd Birthday on 365 and I never told anyone how old I am but then I decided why hide it...we all get older..I'm just happy that I'm healthy. and believe it I have to thank my daughter for looking after me as she is always lecturing me..like you need more excercise, proper nutrition, keep your mind going etc etc..but I guess she's right.

I'm sure you will. just take good care of yourself..I have my daughter who always encourages me..heallthy food, exercise, think young, associate with younger people. etc etc. oh and she has a thing with drinking way too much water...but than she doesn't look too bad either for being 51 in 3 days from now.
