My impatience on the deck railing gives me some color (when the sun shines). this morning it was foggy with some showers and so it will continue all day.

What a nice shot on a rainy day, Bruni. I love the fog as it makes such a great photo. We could use a cool off here. 107 today and another week of 100 plus temperatures.
@darsphotos Thank you Darlene..in that heat 107 degrees I would stay inside where it's cool.. but if you have nothing but rain for days on end you'll look foward to some sun. Bruce and Anne with son Michael came for a visit and we all sat outside on the deck. it was dry there and for a little bit the sun came out...they came early and left early..had to go to another function in the area. so in the afternoon Grace and her fiancÉ came for dinner..while the guys were talking Grace and I tried 3 times to go for a walk but it always started to rain..we took an umbrella along but the wind was awful strong at by lake so we truned around..after the 3rd try we finally gave up. that was my day today.
@pyrrhula Pyrrhula I'm so honoured that you consider me a bit of a friend. I'm so used to your name as ""Pyrrhula"" that I'll continue calling you that and maybe just once in a while address you as Ferry..is this short for Ferdinand?
