Hubby says people will get tired of your collages but how else can I share all the wonderful photo opportunities I had this morning. we left early and drove to the nearest forest..our walk started at 7.30 am and whatever time we spent walking wasn't more than one hour. Bruni had to stop so many times..always something else to take pictures of.. so after a bit more than two hours I had taken 132 pictures. wasn't easy to decide which ones to take for my collage. hoping you enjoy my efforts
I thank you in advance for spending the time..please enlarge for beter viewing.
Love your collages - i still have to try doing them. what program did you use? Sounds like you had a great morning - 132 pictures. Isn't it great when you are in a place and you don't know where to start taking pictures
@lindaagne365 Hi Linda. You're absolutely right we had a great time. when we first got there it started out with nothing but green undergrowth but once we got into the needle- and leaf trees we found a lot of interesting subjects..the pictures in the collage are only a small part of it. I do a lot of collages and most of them I do in picasa .I've tried different applications but if I want more pictures and still be able to show them at a fair size I go with picassa. I open up picasa and on top it says create and then underneathI click on picture collage. I can place my pictures which everway I like, make them smaller, larger, put them on an angle if I like. once they are to my liking I click on processing collage..on top left you find edit collage when you click on that you can still move he pictures to make them line up perfect. I find picasa gives me a lot of freedom to get a collage to look the way I like it. oh and yes you can always move a picture to the side and try a different one in it's place..if you never tried picasa I have picasa 3 and it's free. I'm glad to help out if you need more information of how to go about it. it's fun. thank you stopping by and for your comment.
Beautiful job and wonderful collage, Bruni ... it was definitely worth the walk! Your husband sounds as patient as mine! I love that photo in the middle, left side. The beautiful rays on lighting coming in through the trees. What a gorgeous place to walk. I use picassa too for cropping and sometime straightening. Haven't tried the other apps yet. I'm too lazy to do much to my photos and have never tried the collage.
@karenann Thank you Karenann..yes that is one of my favorite picture in this collage. first I wasn't going to use he two but now I'm glad I did. I enjoy doing collages on picasa..try it sometimes. and you know when I have a small picture I prfetend I'm using the collage and just enlarge it in there. it's so easy to do.
I never know do you get to see the reply I sent to lindaagne365>? it's all about collages in picasa.
@snowy How nice of you Diana..thank you so much for liking my collage and for the fav. I read your comment to Hans..he still doesn't believe me when I say that lots of 365ers use collages.

This is fabulous too! Came back after your refence to it on your web picture. Wonderful collage of so many different things. It's a great to present when you are spoilt for choice on photos. Fave for me too!
Got the same problem as you have. I like to do collages to tell the storiy.
How otherwise can you show all beautiful things you`ve discover on one day ? The whole is more as the some of it parts. Although every pic on it is a beauty
What a beautiful collage, Bruni. I love all of your photos. Each one could stand alone. Such a gorgeous place to take a walk, no wonder you took extra time to take photos. I do the same thing. FAV
@darsphotos Thank you Dear for the comment and another fav. you spoil me today. after almost 3 years I learned something new..when I tried to get close ups with my small Kodak camera I brought the zoom as close as I could get it and then went still close to the object as well. most the times the pictures were blurred..Hans caught me at it and showed me how he does it. he put the camera on a wide angle and goes so close to the object that he almost touches it and viola he gets good clear close ups. now that I know how to go about it you can see the results in this collage. I'm so happy that you like them too.
@bruni You are welcome, Bruni. You did a fantastic collage. I will have to remember what you have said as this may help me with my photos as well. I get really blurred close up photos a lot of the time. I love all of your photos in this collage. We keep learning. Tell Hans, thank you from me and I will try it out.
You found some lovely surprises on the forest floor. But really Bruni, you only took 132 pictures? Were you not feeling well? (o: lol A very pretty collage!!
