@pyrrhula Yes Pyrrhula at the time we lived there my son was only 6 and Grace was 9..Bruce is the one who fell into the river and Grace sceamed and so we came running..after that he had to learn in a hurry how to swim..my former husband didn't give up with the lessons until we knew Bruce was safe..too much water all around.
@ruthmouch I'm so happy that you liked the picture of Soldiers Bay..I've passed it so many times and not realized until I saw it on the computer how nice it looked. thank you so much for your wonderful support and the fav.
@olivetreeann I just sent you a comment on your latest picture and forgot to thank you for the favorite on mine..yes it's a nice little picture..was surprised it turned out so well. thank you Ann. it's really too bad that in those days I didn't take pictures. the house my x husband built at the marina is no longer standing..the new owner had torn it down and build a huge shop instead. looks like he doesn't live at the premises like we did.
@bruni You are welcome Bruni! Yes, sometimes it's sad how things change. The front porch I grew up playing on was closed in by someone on my childhood home and that thought always brings a twinge of sorrow.
