Here you see my first try in the Get-Pushed-6 challenge. @izzymathie picked a B/W marcro setting for me. since I don't have a macro lense I had to try it my way - which is to get a picture with a blurred background by mistake. today I had to concentrate on my subject to get it in clear enough and still show a bit of a blurr.
@darsphotos Hi Darlene..how are you doing this morning. i hope you can say a bit better..when I say we miss you here it doesn't mean to hurry up and post us some of your lovely pictures, well you know what I mean..your fav. is so welcome..this is my first time that I participated in the Push challange.

I saw my eye Dr on Wed and he put an upper plug in one eye. It is tearing a lot and my other eye hurts and I have to use constant drops in it. Called today and will have to call Tuesday and have him take out what he put in and just deal with all this or see my old eye Dr and see if he can help me. The weather has been better but will heat up again on Sunday for the BBQ and stay really warm all week in the high 90's. Now it is in the 80's with a nice breeze so enjoying it.

@darsphotos Darn it..so the plug didn't do what it was suppose to? is he a specialist or why did you change doctors when you speak of going back to your old eye doctor? in the meantime I hope you get some relief with the drops. the days here are still quite nice, a bit humid so the air conditioner was on again but it cools off nicely at night..wish both of you a great weekend. we have a holiday on Monday..not that it counts that much for us retirees. every week could be a long weekend - I'm sure you know what I mean.
@bruni I am taking it slow and being on here aggravates my eyes. The plug is supposed to hold in tears that I do not make so now my left eye is depending on what I put into it but one drop seems to be too much. My Dr is an Ophthalmologist so the best as far as eyes go. I went out of network and paid cash to my old Ophthalmologist as I could not get into the one that I currently see for 2 months last Fall when all this started. The old one was my eye Dr for years but our insurance changed and I could no longer see him. We had a PPO and you can go to anyone and it changed to an HMO and I have to stay in the network of Drs with this insurance. As of yesterday my husbands insurance that I am on changed once again to the PPO so I can go back to my old Dr that I saw for years and the insurance will cover my visits but with a large deductible, I think. Will have to check but no matter where I go what I find out will be the same and $20 for each visit. We have a holiday on
Monday also and a BBQ to go to today at my sons friends parents house close to home. My husband made a couple of salads and is making some wings and a small rack of ribs for me as they overcook their food and put pepper on it and I cannot chew well or have pepper. So I come with my own plate of food when we go to their house plus food to share. It is nice here but warming up into the 90's today and all week long. Have a great weekend and nice to be retired. Wish my husband was or could be in the near future but happy he has a good job. Take care, Bruni.
