Last night when I noticed the sun was going down it was almost too late to get coat and shoes on and walk down to the lake.. instead I jumped into the car and drove along Lake Drive to find a parking space. darn it, there were No Parking signs along the whole stretch and I had no time..well I just parked anyway, kept the car running and took a few pictures with the lense almost touching the wire fence. sooc.
Wow, Bruni. This is an amazing shot. I smiled at your description of what you went through to get it. We photogs will do just about anything when God gives us a gorgeous sunset or rainbow etc. This is breathtaking and a fav.
@andrewrome365 David, I'm very lucky to be living so close to the lake. ( five houses away from it) love to take sunset pictures and when I first bought my ace account I named one album Sunrise/Sunset and later changed it to Others incl. sunrise-sunsets. So happy you like my picture to make it a fav. thank you. very much appreciated.
Great color. Careful taking these shots that you don't hurt your eyes, especially with a DSLR where the light filters through the powerful focusing lens, even with the sun somewhat obscured behind some clouds

@pinktornado39 I'm doing fine..had a problem with atrial fibrillation for 4 years and last year October had an ablation procedure done and doing a lot better now. life is good again. will look for your pictures.
