A gaggle of geese by bruni

A gaggle of geese

Always a nice sight when driving into one of our town's shopping centres. I took pictures here of the geese before and I think it was also in the fall as I remember some red trees. the geese were either sleeping or sunbathing and when I go a bit closer, they got up and started to walk away.

@leananiemand we don't have any in our area here as our whole lake freezes in the winter. quite a large amount stay in Toronto. Lake Ontario has always some open water and it's apparently warm enough in Toronto. good question though, Leana.

Great collage of all these geese. Noticed today when shopping that they are gone from one park area. Have not been to our park in a while to see if they migrate or stay for all the food people feed them. I love the Fall colors. Fav

@digitalrn I hope so. we have already too many geese staying all winter in Toronto. our lake, Lake Simcoe will be totally frozen in the winter with no open water in comparison to the larger lakes like Lake Ontario.

They can really overrun a place and it's not fun at all to walk through the droppings! But they do look nice gathering around the pond.
