A quick note.
We returned Saturday night around 11 pm from our Christmas celebration at our son's and family. we spent a wonderful day with them. I took this picture on Christmas Eve when the first set of candles were on the tree. they're more than half way burned already and I like it when the candles get smaller and smaller. so pretty.
today (now it's 12:08 on December 28) we have another busy day ahead of us. It's our Debbi's Birthday and they all come over, that is her mom, her daughter Shayelynne with her boyfriend to celebrate with her Dad (Hans) and me (her Step mother). won't have much time later, so I updated early.
@cimes1 Hi Carol. so glad you dropped in. did you and yours have a wonderful Christmas, wishing you a great 2015 and am looking forward once again to your new start, January 1 2015.
I was lucky, I just got released from yet another stay in the hospital just before Christmas. on the mend of recovery. thank you so much for the fav. always so very much appreciated.
@skstein I do get better day by day. just sleeping through the night is not easy. was up at 2 am this morning, but will take another try on the couch In a little while before Hans gets up at 5 am (every morning).
Beautiful tree! I really missed having one up this year, so much so that I am truly considering a "fake" one so that I can put it up and down without needing help from Jeff (who I believe is distantly related to Scrooge).
@olivetreeann At one time I thought the same and we bought a floor to ceiling fake one. used it 2 times and then it went underneath the crawl space in one part of our house. this year we gave it to charity. we missed our real tree with the real candles.
