We're under a deep freeze. the warning came out at the beginning of this week and tomorrow is suppose to be the coldest day. the temperature will only be 15 degree below with a windchill factor of minus 29 degrees. I think I'll stay inside where it's nice and cozy.
It looks cold, and it is going to be a wicked couple of days here as well with wind chill down to -20'F or more, and today we have the funeral for our friend at work.
@digitalrn So sorry to hear about your friend, Rick. I didn't know. we also had to go out on the coldest day of the week. I'm still retaining water and it's really bad. my doctor is stuck in New York for the last two days on a return flight home, so the office advised me this morning to go to the ER. they thought I might have a blood clot.. 6 hours later, everything seems ok, had test after test done and also an X-ray. this was the good news, the bad, I've to see my doctor.
@pyrrhula I know, Ferry. we Skype or phone Germany often and my sister in law told us. it's ok. we'll get over it. a little snow would make it warmer. have a good week ahead.
@demelo Ann, the weather is so unpredictable this year. the poor fish hut owners who make their livelihood in the winter are crying. no income, no frozen lake, no fish huts, no customers. even here at our Bay the water is mostly open. thanks for all your comments and support.
@gigiflower I'll have to say Keep cool. a little of that heat would be nice if it came my way. weather is crazy, it doesn't matter where you're at this time. thanks for all your lovely comments, favs and your great support.
@maggie2 Margaret, you're welcome to it. can't happen soon enough. wasn't it crazy already last year and now this? what you see is the last of our snow after lots of rain, freezing rain, wind, storm - you name it.
so glad you like my picture. Thank you.
@prttblues My dear friend, Bev. guess where I spent the coldest day of the week!

@cejaanderson It was and it's not over yet. just copied something for your sister. you might like to read it. it's 11.22 pm and I'm pooped and ready for bed. good night until we meet again.
I'm thinking everywhere is crazy.this week I walked to the shops without a coat; had to scrape deep frost from the car;drove through rain sox heavy the windscreen could barely cope and was almost blinded by a 'low' winter sun as I checked for oncoming traffic at a roundabout!
Such a pretty shot, Bruni. Wow, that is so cold. I hope you stayed inside as they showed warnings on tv about the cold weather and to cover up all skin that is exposed if you have to be outside. It has been in the 40's in the morning and the 60's mid day. No rain in site. Stay warm and well my friend. FAV
@cimes1 Carol, when I saw this picture and it's one of many, I liked it too. the eye saw more of the glistening water droplets. the camera didn't catch any, but all in all I do like the outcome. Thank you for favoring it.
how's the weather your way?
Glad to hear you're opting to stay in where it's warm! I've been parked by the woodstove the last four days- I can't seem to get warm enough and my joints are quite painful. Sorry to hear about the swelling and hopefully the doctor's visit will bring about something to help with that. Hang in there! Pretty shot- especially from the inside of a warm house.
Wonderful shot Bruni.
Great beautiful close up capture of the pine. Fav.
so glad you like my picture. Thank you.
