Our many sod fields produce a lot of it. with so many new subdivisions going up all over, sod for growing good grass is in great demand, especially since the 404 highway extension has come in. more and more people are moving further North to be able to afford buying a home. the average price in the Toronto is around 1 Million Dollars.
I haven't seen sod fields since I lived in Minnesota as a teenager. We had one about 2 miles from our house and all the boys that grew up around us worked on the sod farms!! On Friday nights we would have a party in the fields and run barefoot through the grass. It was wonderful!! Thanks for the wonderful memories and such beautiful country!!! FAV!
Such a beautiful shot, Bruni. I love how green it is. Amazing the cost of homes there and that they are building so much. It is happening here as well, lots of building and prices going up. Since we are in a drought, things remain very dry FAV
