When we were vacationing at the same resort in 2007, this nice looking pier was what greeted us when we walked down the path from the resort to the ocean. I was really disappointed when I saw it was gone. I never asked at the resort why or when it was taken down. Looking close, you can see two people in the water. I love the calm waters there as a reef a little further out blocks off the waves.
