Wonder how the squirrel can manage

...to get on the free standing feeder when there isn't anywhere he can jump from and land on the feeder and yet, here he is sitting in the dish and/or hanging up side down.

@bruni Churches has in the old days a very central function in people lifes. Not only the religion but also in the way of living. . No one own a closk those days. The only one was on the church tower. The people working on the fields where depending on it for the eating times. Also the bells for giving warnings. The church also was a save place in time of missery.
A long time my dear brother answer me on the question Why not buy a watch? Why ? plenty of clock towers around.
