We have two little children living down the road from us. their mom takes them to a baby sitter up the road about the third house from us. the little boy goes already to school while his sister is maybe about three years old.
Sometimes they stop at our house for some candy (with their parents permission). so when I saw these little Easter containers, I thought of the kids. I filled them with Easter chocolates and this morning, Hans went over to their house. when he returned, he told me the little boy was smiling all over (he is very shy) and his sister danced around with the box while Hans talked to their Dad.
@janeandcharlie Thank you Jane. we met the mother once in a groceries store and I asked her, is it still ok with you that we give them some candies. her reply was, I never have to buy any for them. I think the also receive some from other neighbors.
