"While strolling through Fairy Lake ( which is actually a man-made lake ), you discover playgrounds, sheltered picnic areas with close by washrooms, beautiful walking trails around the lake, over bridges and well maintained parkland.
The walking trail is actually called Tom Taylor Trail ( a former mayor of Newmarket, Ont) or Nokiidaa Trail. you might've figured Nokiidaa stands for walking together.
that must be an Indian name - good to know! Fairy lake would encourage young children ( and adults with an imagination) to do this walking trail!
