Thanksgiving decoration stays usually until after Halloween
The picture is from the steps of a neighbours house across the street from us. I took it after we found out that a raccoon demolished our pumpkins. there is hardly anything left of the six on our stairs. we found out the reason. raccoons don't like light. most neigbours have motion lights in front of their homes. since our actual entrance is on the side of our home where we have two motion lights, we have none in front of our house. so the raccoon prefers scavenging in the dark.
I went to visit with my daughter and after coffee we drove once again to the our favorite close by park.
There were a lot of parked cars, but we didn't pass too many people on foot. mind you, a lot of cyclists passed us more than ones or twice. I guess they've a certain route they follow and use it a few times by turning around and do it over and over again.
Most the leaves were off the trees and although I was dressed real warm I got the chills at times.
It's been raining all night long and continued until early evening in time for the trick or treaters.
