While many Canadians and Americans suffer through the depths of winter, blistering summer temperatures are wrecking havoc with American's environment killing animals, cooking fruits and toppling decades-old heat records.

Here in Australia it's very hot here too. We haven't had any decent rain here in Queensland since last November. No storms or anything... in Cloncurry, they've had 40 days of 40+C and that's just not right! In South Australia, they're not letting the children go back to school until it cools down enough - that's under 30C.

It's horrible here.

We have those issues here in parts of our county too. Atm there are still severe heat and drought conditions, many farmers are losing livestock :-(
