White Trillium is Ontario's National Flower

The maple tree was officially recognized as Canada's arboreal emblem in 1996. The official Provincial and Territorial floral emblems are: Ontario: white trillium (Trillium grandiflorum), adopted in 1937.

When I was a girl in Connecticut, we had many trillium in our surrounding woods.
